Maple 12 offers many new enhancements to the Maple environment, including new plotting and visualization tools, additional support for document creation, more resources for easy "clickable math" interaction, an enriched computational environment, connectivity to new tools, and a number of important enhancements to functionality.

Beginning with R2008a, The MathWorks will require activation of all software in the MATLAB and Simulink product families. More details may be found at (http://www.mathworks.com/activation.) The Spring University PC Purchase Cycle is ready. The findTech Connections webpages have been updated to reflect the latest cycle offerings from Dell, HP, and Lenovo for desktops, notebooks, displays, options and upgrades, and workgroup laser printers.

What's new this cycle is the addition of a convertible (tablet) notebook from all three vendors. Both the desktop and notebook systems contain some of the most recent processors available from Intel.

Vendors are expected to have their online storefronts updated in the near future to reflect the new PC Cycle products. In the interim, contact inside sales representatives (noted on 'How to Order' page) for assistance in processing your order in a timely fashion.

Note all footnotes on the findTech webpages pertaining to availability and exceptions to University specifications. In all cases, it is wise to consult your vendor of choice regarding the current status of each product prior to ordering.
