6) Don't Burn a DVD! Try the software alternative.
Don't burn a CD or DVD just to install software on your own system.
Instead use software to provide a virtual DVD. Read more at:
Recent query on pc_lan_admins@email provided a number of alternatives with Virtual CloneDrive being mentioned the most. Virtual CloneDrive
(Freeware) can be downloaded at (http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html)
7) Spring University PC Purchase Cycle
The Spring University PC Purchase Cycle is ready. The findTech Connections webpages have been updated to reflect the latest cycle offerings from Dell, HP, and Lenovo for desktops, notebooks, displays, options and upgrades, and workgroup laser printers.
What's new this cycle is the addition of a convertible (tablet) notebook from all three vendors. Both the desktop and notebook systems contain some of the most recent processors available from Intel.
Vendors are expected to have their online storefronts updated in the near future to reflect the new PC Cycle products. In the interim, contact inside sales representatives (noted on 'How to Order' page) for assistance in processing your order in a timely fashion.
Go to (http://findtech.rutgers.edu/pccycle) to view the latest vendor offerings for the University PC Purchase Cycle. Note all footnotes on the findTech webpages pertaining to availability and exceptions to University specifications. In all cases, it is wise to consult your vendor of choice regarding the current status of each product prior to ordering.
