JUNE 2005 FACULTY IT LIAISONS NEWSLETTER
Welcome to the OIRT Faculty Liaisons Group! We are very pleased to already have the participation of almost half of the academic and/or research departments and units. This group was established to ensure that there is a mechanism for two-way communication of instructional and/or research technology needs and opportunities throughout the university. We expect to email the group on a monthly basis a digest containing the following information:
- Upcoming IRT events and announcements - These will be presented in digest-form with amplifying links to web-based information routed through the OIRT website (http://oirt.rutgers.edu).
- Question of the Month (QOM) - QOMs will pertain to a particular topic about which we are hoping to gain faculty input (e.g., training workshops). Data gathered from the QOMs will be presented in the following month's digest.
- Faculty Liaison Forum - Each month we will provide answers to several questions of general interest posed by you. Please feel free to submit questions to us at any time.
OIRT in coordination with campus, departmental, and partner (listed at http://oirt.rutgers.edu and herein referred to as OIRT&P) IT organizations are committed to helping your department or unit succeed in your instructional and research technology endeavors. The Faculty Liaison Group will provide you with a direct relationship to OIRT&P. We are glad to be working with you!
