What is it?
- Blogger is a free weblog publishing tool that allows for sharing text, photos, and videos
- It allows for private or multi-user blogs
- Blogger is now owned by Google and can be used with a Google account
Features
- You can choose templates for your blog when you create it
- You can post text and pictures from a smart phone with the Blogger app
- You can also create other pages that are linked to your original blog
- i.e. you can create an “About Me” page or a “Contact Me” page that is linked to your original blog
- You can make money by placing ads in your blog; the popularity and content of your blog determines how much money you make
- You can also host your blog on blogspot.com and have a URL to share with others
- This tool is available in many different languages
Getting started
- Log in or create a Google account
- Click on the Create your blog now and follow the instructions from there
