Office of Instructional and Research Technology (OIRT)Provides coordination for use of Information Technology throughout the University in support of instruction and research. Maintains and supports the Sakai Collaboration and Learning Environment. Staff are available to work with individual instructors and researchers, as well as with departments and other units. OIRT can meet with departments to review the various research and instructional IT services at Rutgers.
Center for Teaching Advancement and Assessment Research (CTAAR)Provides direct support to faculty interested in developing and utilizing new instructional tools. Offers workshops, seminars and programs that provide information, expertise and discussion of issues pertinent to the improvement of teaching. Provides resources and services that contribute to comprehensive and meaningful evaluations of teaching, both formative and summative, to be used both for assessment and for faculty development.
Division of Continuous Education Outreach (DCEO)Provides resources for career and skill development for students, faculty, and staff. Maintains and supports the eCompanion Course Management System.
Instructional Design & Technology (IDT, Camden)Supports the integration of technology into the curriculum. Works with faculty on projects to improve, strengthen, and invigorate the experience of learning and teaching. Supports the Sakai Collaboration and Learning Environment for the Camden campus.
The Laboratory for Computer Science Research (LCSR)Operates the network, file systems, workstations, and computer clusters serving the Department of Computer Science. Responsible for the design, development, and operations of environments and systems that support research and instruction in the field of Computer Science.
Learning CentersWorks with students and faculty through a variety of free academic support programs such as tutoring, academic coaching, and Course-Specific Instruction Groups to promote student achievement.
Office of Academic Technology (OAT, Newark)Supports the integration of technology into the Newark curriculum. Maintains and supports the Blackboard Course Management System and enhanced classrooms for the Newark campus.
Office of Information Technology (OIT)Works closely with faculty, senior administrators, the university's key stakeholders, and users of computer technology in developing policies, standards, processes, and procedures regarding IT.
Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP)Advises and assists members of the Rutgers Community who are engaged in scholarly and creative activities. Provides information, services, and support above and beyond what is available from traditional departmental sources. Enables members of the Rutgers Community may, in times of need and opportunity, compete successfully for outside funding to conduct scientific research, create works of art, compose music, write books and articles, improve their performance in the classroom, and better serve their students, their professions, and the public.

School of Arts and Sciences Information Technology DepartmentProvides IT support for the School of Arts and Sciences faculty and staff including SAS Gradebook, Novell, and mailing lists.
Teaching Assistant Project (TAP)Promotes excellence in undergraduate and graduate education through the professional development of the graduate student teaching staff. The fundamental components upon which this project is built include the annual orientation, certificate programs and special issues seminars, web-based publications, and discipline-specific training.
