To best serve our diverse population of faculty, staff, and students, the university has embarked on a multiyear effort to change the way we look at the creation and consumption of digital content. The most common term for this is Accessibility. Ultimately, Rutgers IT Accessibility aims to ensure that its resources, particularly websites, course materials, and software, are technically accessible and functionally usable by the broadest audience. Through the formation of various subject matter practice groups to developing policies and guidelines, we are reshaping the digital landscape at Rutgers and ensuring equal access to information for all.
