Sakai Online Course Template

TLT has created a template within Sakai that is readily available to anyone wishing to incorporate sound course design into their courses. Contact us if you would like to use it for your course.

The landing page for the Sakai Online Course Template is shown in the screenshot below. Our design and layout includes best practices for online teaching and is informed by Quality Matters, and provides many of the components of a quality online or blended course. Feel free to even use it as a supplement to your face-to-face course!

TLT has several rubric templates you may download and customize for your course as needed.

Credit Hour Reference Sheet

Credit hours are difficult to measure in online courses.  This reference sheet is meant to provide a guideline for the duration of common course activities.  You may need to adjust these timeframes for your specific activities.
