Using multimedia activities in an online course

It’s often easier than you think to incorporate unique, effective, and interactive online activities into your class.  In the video below, Nat Clymer, a part-time lecturer at the School of Communication & Information, discusses how working with an instructional designer helped him reimagine his Photojournalism course and taught him new ways to use Sakai.

For example, by incorporating the forum feature into his class, Clymer enabled his students to better share, review, and critique each other’s photographs.  Watch more to learn about Clymer’s experience:
