OIRT facilitates captioning through 3Play Media, who provides a negotiated, educational rate. 3Play Media is also integrated with the Kaltura video platform available in some learning management systems. Costs depend on the length of the video and the immediacy of the deadline for the captions. Fully-online courses offered in Sakai may be eligible for funding from OIRT to cover the costs of captioning. Please review the University accessibility policy to learn more about your responsibility to provide captions.
